Ethan Dowie

Chief Executive Officer

The reason I started Dowie Corp was to help raise awareness for children with cancer at Sunrise Day Camp. That was and always will be the foundation of what this nonprofit is built on. Every event brings the Rockland County community closer together and unites old friends for a worthwhile cause. Building Dowie Corp from scratch to what it’s become today has been quite the journey. As CEO I hold myself personally accountable for the outcome of every event. As our company grows, we remain eternally grateful for the continued support from such a loving community.

I have been involved in sports my whole life and make participating in charity events a priority. Being able to combine the two and help Ethan, who is not only a great person but also a friend, is both rewarding and fulfilling. As the CIO, or Chief Idea Officer, (I know...what a title) my job is to act as both a consultant in events that are already planned and present new opportunities to grow the outreach we can have in our community. My goal within the charity is to increase the togetherness of the community and reach those who may not have had the opportunities to participate in events that should be commonplace for youth growing up.
